They were easily contactable and always happy to answer questions. We went with the basic styling package and our ceremony and reception space looked beautiful. It was such a weight off our shoulders knowing that we didn't have to worry about setting up on the day. Everyone at the Little Laneway was incredible but a special mention to Sharene for her work organising everything in the lead up and on our wedding day and also to the staff working on the night. They were so lovely and accommodating, checking in about how we were feeling and whether we needed anything. The Little Laneway made our wedding so special, we're so happy we got married here!

We booked the venue almost two years before our wedding date, and throughout that entire journey, the team made the planning process such a beautiful and stress-free experience.
Rowan has poured his heart and soul into this venue, and that passion is reflected in every detail and in the incredible team he has built. From the very beginning through to after the wedding, everything was handled seamlessly. We tied the knot three weeks ago and truly had the most magical day.
The venue itself is stunning, spread across two levels with bars on each, gorgeous chandeliers, and a seriously fun dance floor that kept everyone on their feet all night. Their recommended vendors were also amazing and went above and beyond for us.
Working with The Little Laneway felt like planning an event with family. We are so grateful for the care, professionalism and love that went into our wedding, and we will cherish the experience forever.

The venue is just so elegant and special, with luxurious chandeliers adding to such make a wonderful atmosphere. The food was so delicious and the team was the best in Australia. Seriously, they were exceptional going above and beyond to make the event so seamless, VIP and awesome. I was a maid of honour to my best friend at the little lane way and had lost my speech... yes old school printed out on a piece of paper and not on my phone. I had someone email it from my laptop from home and Sharene from the Little Laneway, like a fair god mother offered to print it for me, so no stress no more. From the very beginning, Rowan’s yes attitude made everything feel easy and possible. Nothing ever felt too hard, which gave us so much confidence throughout the planning process.

Sharene was incredible in bringing everything together. Her attention to detail and ability to make the vision come to life was amazing, and on the day she was such a calming presence. We felt completely relaxed knowing everything was in such good hands.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and the food was a genuine highlight. Pure Catering did an outstanding job and we’ve had so many guests comment on how good it was.

Do I need a celebrant?

Yes, for your marriage to be legally recognised in Australia, you’ll need a registered civil celebrant. We don’t include a celebrant in our standard package, but we’re happy to recommend trusted celebrants we’ve worked with. Just ask when you enquire.

How long is the elopement ceremony?

Most ceremonies run 20–30 minutes. You’ll have exclusive use of the ceremony space for the full morning or afternoon session, giving you time for pre-ceremony photos, the ceremony itself, and a champagne toast.

Can we add guests after booking?

Yes, subject to capacity. Our elopement space comfortably seats up to 20 guests. If you’d like to add more, get in touch. We can discuss options, including upgrading to a micro wedding package.

Can we have food and drinks?

Absolutely. Our elopement package includes a champagne toast. We offer catering add-ons including grazing boards, canapes, and sit-down options. BYO is also welcome; beverages are served by our RSA-trained staff.

Is a weekday elopement actually nice?

Many couples tell us that a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday elopement is their favourite decision. The CBD is quieter, you get more time with our team, photography is stunning in softer weekday light, and it often works out more relaxed.

What's the difference between an elopement and a micro wedding?

Our elopement package is ceremony-focused, for up to 20 guests, and includes all the ceremony essentials. A micro wedding adds a reception component and caters for up to 40 guests with dining, dancing, and a fuller styling package.
